Better Web Cam Videos With Cheap Lights
No more poor videos from you! Many internet surfers use a web cam directly attached to their computer. The quality of the images produced that way is not always as good as it could be. That has to do with poor lighting. Lighting is important to get excellent video results. Good lights will produce less shadow and heavy contrast and will make it easy even for a cheap webcam to produce a higher quality image. You don't need to use expensive video lights to achieve these good results. 50 Dollars or less for cheap lights Buy three spot lights, the type that use halogen bulbs. They can be bought in many stores quite cheaply. You don't need to buy large halogen spots, they can be just small desk lights. How to place the three lights Place one of the halogen lights on the ground and have it pointing at you from the bottom up at an angle of about 30 degrees behind you and 45 degrees up. Then place one spotlight on the left side and one on the right side of your laptop or computer, position both of them behind the webcam. You now need to experiment to see how you get the best postions. Move them around (further to the side and/or to the back) until you get lighting that is pleasing and even, without washing out all contours. Some darker areas of your face are OK, they allow the countours to be modelled and add the third dimension. Cheap and effective solution With just these three cheap lights that will cost you less than 50 dollars in total you'll produce a much better video image!
